The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mombasa chapter in partnership with the Kenya Revenue Authority organized a Focus Group Discussion meeting at the KRA officer earlier today with the main topics of discussion being;policies, automation of KRA services, complexity or simplicity of preparation of information and records for tax purposes, customs, importation and exportation process, tax forms, filing, payment and legal tax complexity/simplicity. The members presented their grievances and challenges to the KRA research officials and suggestions were made in regards to the policies that are currently in place. The KRA officials promised to present a complete report on the issues raised for further action and improvement.
