KNCCI – SWAHILIPOT HUB COURTESY CALL

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors lead by the Chairman Mr. Mustafa Ramadhan paid a courtesy visit to Swahili pot hub on Tuesday 25th . The purpose of the visit was to understand more about Swahili hub and identify possible areas of collaboration.

Swahilipot hub is a community space that focuses on the youth majorly around technology and arts with the aim of identifying talent, nurturing and advancing it to empower youth. Swahilipot works with young innovators to develop success from their ideas and initiatives through availing necessary resources that aid in capacity building

To achieve its goals Swahili pot has partnered with organizations such as Seacom, Cisco, National Museums of Kenya and the ICT authority. Each of the member partners bring in their expertise from their relevant fields to ensure that Mombasa youth innovate creatively around arts and technology to come up with viable and sustainable solutions.

Swahili pot offers different programs in both art and technology that taps talent, encourage innovation and engage youth to become self-reliant and better citizens.

The meeting demystified swahilipot hub and KNCCI committed to support swahilipot’s initiatives and also help identify gaps within the market environment that can be filled through creation of  innovative products.
