INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED SHIPBROKERS (ICS) ANNUAL STAKEHOLDER’S DINNER
On Friday 7th September the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) participated in the 2nd annual stakeholder’s dinner of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) that was held at Mombasa sports club as one of the partners and stakeholder and was represented by Mr. Martin Soita a director of KNCCI, from Maritime management. This year’s theme being “role and contribution of ICS in Educating Tomorrow’s Maritime and Ocean Leaders”.
The dinner aimed at bringing together representatives of the key players in the maritime sector, County Government’s and National Government to dine together to discuss key issues affecting maritime sector and for business networking. The other objective is advancing shipping professional standards in East Africa region through membership and examinations.
There were presentation of books donated by Greece, London and Middle East to East Africa branch officials by guest which will be readily available to students of ICS and those interested in career along that maritime sector.
